Around the Shop this Week!

New for this week – a lovely hutch, and elegant bergère, and Round Top!

We recently got in a new hutch that will make a lovely addition to a kitchen or breakfast space in any home. It has plenty of shelving up top, and down below is a large cabinet for storing your dishes and glassware.

Here at the shop we are using it to present a collection of our French-imported kitchen goodies, from Jean Dubost cutlery to tasty Fleur de Sel finishing sea salt.

This wingback bergère, with its characteristic upholstered back and armrests, and a deep, comfortable seat cushion, would look stunning in a living room or reading nook. It has a classic Louis XV-style carved wood frame, and was expertly reupholstered by tapissier Gilbert Renaud in Nevers, France. The fabric features a luxurious damask pattern with an intricate floral motif, consisting of shades of peach, coral, beige and cream.

I absolutely love this chair, with how elegant, yet comfortable it is. Come take it home today!

Don’t forget our Round Top location at 108 Compound Ln (Google Maps Link) is now open! The spring antique show will really pick up starting the weekend of Friday, March 21st, so if you want to beat the crowds, then come on out today. We’ll be open until Saturday, April 5th.
